A Team of 11 Professional Cuban Dancers Bring the Beauty of

For the FIRST time in North America, Cubamemucho, an internationally renowned
Cuban Dance Festival, will grace Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on September 25-27,
2009 and will transform the Mayfield Inn and Conference Centre into a colorful and
lively celebration of Cuban music, dance and culture.
Three thrilling nights of heart pounding live entertainment and gala performances are
guaranteed to captivate audiences and have them dancing in their seats.
Known for their expertise in Afro-Cuban body movement and showman skills, these
artists can show anyone how to move his or her body like a Cuban dancer. During the
day, over 20 professional dance workshops will be available to choose from. Local and
international dancers will not want to miss this opportunity to learn from the BEST!
In addition to the shows and workshops, Edmontonians are also invited to join in
welcoming dancers from all over the world who will come together at Cubamemucho
to compete for a chance to qualify for the 2010 World Rueda Championship (Cuban
Salsa Wheel) finals – a prestigious competition to be held in Munich, Germany.
